In the Leaders Lab, participants engage in cohort-based learning (15 hours) that includes instruction, practice and application in a learning environment. You will receive a workbook and laminated cards with the relevant coaching models. This can be completed in-person or virtually.
Following this, the small group skills integration session occurs over four 2-hour sessions (8 hours) for the next three months. These sessions are led by a trained facilitator who assists with solidifying the coaching skills and refining techniques. Each session allows for participants to coach, be coached, and observe coaching as well as receive feedback from a professional mentor coach. This is completed virtually.
To bring the program to completion, a final 1-hour wrap up session brings everyone together to review a coaching demonstration, identify and discuss the relevant components of the coaching. This is completed virtually.
This program may be eligible for the Canada-Saskatchewan Job Grant or the Canada-Manitoba Job Grant to have a portion of this training cost and wages covered.
